False Start Detection

Camera-based software for checking starts precisely, reviewing every lane and identifying false starts frame by frame.

Precise · visual · multilingual

Reliable start control for every lane

BRAMAS False Start Detection records the start area with a high-resolution camera that delivers at least 90 frames per second. The system is designed for a portrait-oriented monitor, so race officials can see all lanes clearly in one view.

A connector receives the official start impulse. At the moment of the impulse, the image is frozen automatically. The operator can then use the scroll button to move forward and backward through individual frames and check whether a boat crossed the virtual start line too early.

Start lists can be displayed directly in the software, keeping lane information and athletes visible during the review. The software interface is available in German, English, Russian, Kazakh and Spanish.
